I hate cooking, you guys. Like, I always think I'll like it in theory, but in practice it's always disastrous.

Tonight for dinner I was making crunchy parmesan cheese chicken and pasta with vodka/tomato cream sauce.

I started cooking at 6:00, only to find that the onions I JUST BOUGHT were rotten. So I drove to my aunt's where she hooked me up with an onion, drove home, and began the chicken. I burnt the onions, undercooked the pasta, dirtied practically every dish in the kitchen, and finally finished what turned out to be a mediocre meal at 7:45.

Cooking? Is not my thing.

But I do have a Cadbury milk chocolate bar sitting next to me, so things are looking up.

I just realized there's a staple trapped under my -> key. Taxes.

:( Hey, but you did it! I mean its all about the journey right? (I too am a atrocious cook, I buy whatever bagged meal is on sale)

It IS all in the journey, I just wish it were a little shorter to actually being a success in the kitchen. Or at least not a complete failure!

But. Practice makes perfect?

I don't know, I just wanted to say how much I love vodka tomato cream sauce. Next time will be easier!

Practice does make perfect, I just hate doing it.

Vodka tomato cream sauce is delicious! And actually, the sauce turned out pretty good, I just undercooked the pasta. BECAUSE I'M AN IDIOT.

I'm actually a pretty good baker, it's just cooking I fail at. But hey, the more we cook, the better we'll get at it. It's just a matter of getting through the bad stuff.

At least you did it? And cooking definitely is one of those things that improves a lot with practice.

Yeah, and I'll get better at it, I know. I just hate it when something doesn't turn out the way I want it to.
