Motherfucking Ike. We got hit with the worst wind storm in my lifetime today and it knocked out the power everywhere. And we're still without power. The people across the street have it, of course, but we don't. I'm stealing their internet in revenge for them having power and us not.

This is all from that stupid hurricane. We live in Ohio. We're supposed to be safe from this kind of crap. Argh.

Oh, and my cell phone is dead, so I'm sort of unreachable right now, since my computer's battery is about to die. *sigh*

Edit: Oh, and in all my bitching about myself, I forgot to mention how lucky we are, because there are actual trees that uprooted in my town and went through people's roofs. My family and I are safe, at least, and I'm grateful for that.

I was out driving in it yesterday and the wind was scary. Luckily our power didn't go out but it seems like half the people I talked to at work didn't have electricity. And AEP is saying it's supposed to take days for them to get it all restored. Completely sucktastic.
