Thanks!

Heh, you mean that post where I rambled semi-incoherently about how freaking confused I am about what to do? I'm surprised that draws anyone in. :D

Friending you back, and welcome! I enjoyed chatting with you, too!

*g*

are you kidding? I was totally nodding along. I got talking to a woman in my class on election day, and she said she's been for Obama all along, but when she got to the poll, she thought what if there is never another opportunity to put a line next to the woman's name? and so she voted for Hilary (and see? there, I'm doing it too. I think for me it's partly her signs, partly the sexist thing, and a lot for the same reason I never called our current Bush "Bush" until he'd gotten put in office a second time, I called him Dubya to distinguish him from his father).

I chose who to vote for based on who I think will be most respected in the rest of the world, and who will do most to fix the horrible public relations disaster Bush has left for us. Not that I don't care about what's happening right here, I do. absolutely. But I'm not convinced Barak Obama and Hilary Clinton are all that different on that front. So if that's what I cared most about, I might go for the same thinking as the rest of your family, if they're the same, vote for the woman.

and this comment should totally go in your other post, but, here it is.

That's what scares me, too. It's like my brain is going for Obama, but my heart wants to go for Clinton. And, like I said in the post (I think), all along I've pretty much been going for whomever I think can get elected. Because when it comes down to it, I just flat-out don't believe Clinton can beat McCain. And to me, it's more important that we get a Democrat in the White House.

So I'm just feeling torn about this whole damn thing. *sigh*
